Learning Disabilities
Many children, at some point in their education, discover challenges in learning. Sometimes it shows up as a learning disability such as dyslexia or trouble with staying focused. Most of the time the issue really centers around their innate learning style. By changing to the correct style, learning becomes easier.
The truth is that every parent, given the opportunity, would love to understand their child better. The ability to gain understanding of a child when they are struggling in school or having behavioral problems would be a wonderful advantage for both you and your child. If only there was a way to peek inside their head and make the right discoveries so you could help them.
IMI has been able to develop a powerful technology that is capable of just that. Our Brain Mapping technology gives extraordinary insights into how your child thinks and processes information. More specifically we are able to reveal things like: How your child learns such as visual, auditory or kinesthetic, the speed and style of 10 different types of intellect, and aspects of their personality so that you can communicate best with them and help them connect socially.
Many children cannot effectively articulate certain aspects about themselves such as their strengths and weaknesses or even their feelings. When there is a disconnect between the parent and the child there is often conflict. This conflict can cause the parent to simply feel frustrated while the child will either feel like a failure or act out with behavioral problems. Bridging the gap between these communication barriers and learning challenges is essential for the well being of your child.
When a parent is faced with handling a child that has a learning disability such as dyslexia, disgraphia, dyscalculia or ADHD, it can be very discouraging. After all, we all want our child to be the best and to be successful. It is so important that the child does not feel singled out or treated as if they are stupid. It is encouraged that the child have complete integration within the classroom. Everyone is wonderfully unique and your child is no exception to this important truth.
